  5. Be careful not to twist the truth or leave out part of it.
  6. Don't indulge in little white lies.
  7. Watch out for silent lies.
  8. When you catch yourself lying, throw your mouth into reverse.
  9. Talk to yourself.
  10. Treat yourself when you tell the truth.

The ten tips for being more truthful benefits me by being less of a lair and more of person that says the truth. The tips that I am applying right now is to avoid silent lies because i used to use silent lies in front of many people. However, now that I am applying the avoid the silent lies I have been more truthful  with myself and others.I will incorporate the other tips into my life planning goals by whenever I tell the truth I will treat myself with 5 minutes reading my life planning notebook. There is no excuse for lying, big or small and you should really try hard to be more honest. When a person figures out that you are not being truthful about something, they are going to find it hard to trust you again because they will doubt everything you say. Remember that the way you behave defines your character and do you really want a reputation as someone who can’t be relied on? Change your habits today and just learn to be more open with the people around you. Remember there is a big difference between being truthful and being cruel, so always be tactful in the way that you speak to others. Kindness doesn’t cost a dime and neither does being honest!
